Join Hannah Prior, artistic director for UK rural touring scheme Arts Alive and disability advocate, as she invites participants to look at where they are right now with accessibility. Along with providing some practical knowledge on the concepts of disability, this engaging and interactive session will allow participants to assess their organizations accessibility wins to date, as well as consider areas where there might be room for additional work. Small changes make big differences, collectively we truly have the potential to deeply impact audience experiences.
*This session will be two hours long with a break in the middle.
*There may be some pre-session work that registrants will need to complete in preparation for the session.
Hannah Prior
Hannah Prior is a theatre maker and arts leader who trained at The Royal Central School Of Speech and Drama, London. Hannah is the Artistic Director of UK rural touring scheme Arts Alive and co-founder of participatory theatre organisation Ignition CIC.Hannah is former Chair of The Cultural Consortium Shropshire and UK board member for The National Rural Touring Forum and Shropshire’s Cultural Compact.
Hannah is an advocate and champion for equity of access in the theatre that enables better creative opportunities for disabled people.
