La Patente, the new Acadian sensation from Fredericton, New Brunswick, is made up of 4 guys in their mid-thirties. The acoustic music draws inspiration from styles like country, cajun, folk, and blues. The artists describe their music as folk country blues. This party band wants one thing: to be on a stage! The collective La Patente comprises Marc Colecchio, Mathieu Émond, Marc-André Godin, and Chad Ritchie. They have one album and one EP and are recording another album in 2023.
