Through multiple universes, timelines, and realities, Nick Payne’s Constellations follows Marianne and Roland in all the iterations of how their fateful relationship may have gone. Maybe they meet at a barbecue, or maybe they don’t. Maybe there’s an infidelity, or maybe there isn’t. Maybe they fall in love and get married, but their time together is tragically short. Constellations is a play about loss, hope, and love.
