Digital Storytelling in 2018: Don't save anything for the swim back

Social networks change significantly from year to year. In this workshop, we'll look at how event organizers can use digital storytelling on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to build community and boost ticket sales. If you're marketing an upcoming event, this workshop will send you away with a better understanding of how to use digital storytelling to promote your event.

Project SoundCheck Training

The Fredericton Sexual Assault Centre has partnered with the Sexual Assault Network in Ottawa and the Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women in order to bring new and innovative training.

Project SoundCheck is Bystander Intervention Training designed for people who attend, volunteer at, or work for large events such as music festivals. Project SoundCheck covers essential information about sexual assault, myths, bystander apathy and different intervention styles. The training concludes with participants engaging in case studies and round table discussions.

Participants will leave the training with increased understanding, motivation, and the confidence to be able to make their spaces and communities safer.
