Register Now for December Block Booking Meeting

November 7, 2017 | The Atlantica, in Halifax, NS, will be our host for two-days of jam packed networking and pitching from your colleagues at our annual Block Booking Meeting taking place December 3-4, 2017.

This meeting is your chance to get your fellow members excited about artists you would like to bring to your community for the 2018-2019 season. It's interactive and this year there will be something for everyone including:

- Festival Network Breakout Session

- Member Exchange Table

- Rural Routes Breakout Session

- Festival Network pitch opportunities

- Hospitality Mixer

- Prizes + more

Remember, these meetings are suited to ALL members; regardless if you participate in block booking. It is a chance to network and discuss new and exciting artists and network with your colleagues. There is no obligation to block book!

Hotel Block

We have a room block at The Atlantica Hotel in Halifax at a rate of $115.00 and includes free parking. The deadline to book to guarantee your rate is Monday, November 13, 2017. Please call 1-888-810-7288 to book your room. Don't forget to mention you are with APA.

Additional Information

*NEW* - This year we will have a "Member's Exchange" Table. Please bring your season brochures, festival posters, rack cards, brag books, business cards and other fun branding that you'd like to share. It's your chance to swap ideas and contact information.

*NEW* - For the first time, we are giving our Festival Network members an opportunity to share and pitch artists to theatre presenters. There will be a dedicated spot in the agenda for this. Who are you booking for the 2018 year? Who is on your wishlist? We want to hear all about it and how can our summer theatre presenters help make that happen.


We are able to offer APA members, in good standing, the following subsidy amounts:

NB Members - $75.00

NL Members - will be in touch separately

NS (central) Members - $50.00

NS (north & south) Members - $75.00

PEI Members - $100.00
